Image from my latest solo devised project which I hope to use to raise awareness of Mental Health issues, particularly Anxiety Disorder. The piece is a comedic and bittersweet love story between a body and its voice in the height of a panic attack. Under the lens of unsuccessful transitions of Actors from Silent Films to “Talkies”, this work-in-progress is autobiographical of a mental illness (Generalised and Social Anxiety Disorder) which dictates my own verbal exchanges, giving (or withholding) permission to interact in social situations.
